看到二十一世紀演出這場海灘戲，我真覺得當年一心想阻礙盟軍登陸的隆美爾將軍，如果地下有知，鐵定會爬起來罵人
基於不空口白話罵人的原則，我引一些源自美國海軍的二戰歷史：
隆美爾對兵力的不足、防衛的薄弱與缺乏興建防衛的一貫計劃，感到印象深刻。這樣的情況是源自於倫德斯特的攻防概念：他認為勝利繫於當敵軍部隊登陸後，集中的後備部隊能夠迅速地採取反應；但深信應採阻絕防禦的隆美爾，卻認為該盡一切的努力來反制敵方登陸
Rommel was impressed by the insufficient number of troops, the weakness of the defenses and the lack of a uniform plan the erection of these defenses. This situation resulted from von Rundstedt’s conception of a defensive-offensive type of defense wherein success was to be achieved by rapid operations with concentrated reserves after the invasion forces had landed. Rommel, believing strongly in a cordon defense, felt that every effort should be made to oppose the actual landing.
隆美爾的計劃是讓海灘成為反擊的主防線，進而將步兵與砲兵佈署於沿岸的帶狀強化防線；另外，所有陣地都必須頻密地佈雷，至於多條前進路線則以不同的障礙物加以封鎖。最後，他還想增強三軍的兵力與協調
Rommel’s plan for the defense was to declare the beach the MLR [Main Line of Resistance] and to place all the infantry and artillery in a strong belt along the coast. In addition, all positions were to be extensively mined, and all approaches were to be blocked by obstacles of many different types. Rommel also desired to increase the strength and coordinate the efforts of the Heer [Army], Navy, and Air Force.
當入侵發生時，防線為具壓倒性優勢的盟軍空軍所破壞，在空中攻擊後，德軍的岸際砲兵幾乎全滅，步兵則亂成一團；這使盟軍傘兵得以在輕微的反抗中降落；而德軍的增援則在入侵關鍵的前幾天遭到延遲
When the invasion took place, the defense was hampered by the overwhelming superiority of the Allied Air Force. As a result of air attacks, the German Kuestenartillerie (coast artillery) was almost eliminated, the infantry was disorganized, Allied paratroops were able to land with little opposition, and German reinforcements were delayed during the critical first days of the invasion.
所以我就很想問，到底是解放軍未來對地面壓制的能力，會比二十世紀中期的盟軍來得差；還是我軍第一線官兵的個人防護，會比二戰時德軍的工事更強？否則你就算一個連的人趴在沙地上，在敵軍登陸前必然會用砲兵或集束彈藥，來把沙灘「犁」幾道；而在這樣的攻擊過後，你還有多少人能對人家開「槍」？
不讀書就算了，連二戰的電影都看不好？大螢幕上的德軍，是在碉堡裡用機槍甚至火砲來扼制盟軍的登陸，還是趴在沙地上，拿步槍與手槍等對方呢？
在危急存亡之秋，還讓這些不學無術的，亂搞出一堆只會讓士官兵平白送命的無效兒戲，欺騙媒體與民眾，這整個政府與國防部的無知無能，真是令人大開眼界
